I’m Marty Haak. I Help Australian Small Businesses Use AI Without Getting Burned by It.
I’ve spent over 26 years running technology businesses for Australian SMEs. Most of that was managed IT - keeping the lights on, fixing what broke, sourcing the right tools. The last few years have been almost entirely AI: implementing it, training teams to use it, and watching too many AI projects fail because nobody stayed to make them stick.
Infinite Edge is the business I built around fixing that gap.
WHY I CARE ABOUT THIS
Three Years Ago Infinite Edge Had Seven People. Today We Have Four.
We have more clients now than we did then. Higher revenue. Better margins. The team works fewer hours and spends them on better problems.
The thing that changed is that we rebuilt our own business the way we now rebuild our clients’. We found the work that didn’t need a human and automated it. We retrained the people we kept on the work AI couldn’t do. We tore out tools we were paying for and replaced them with fewer, better ones.
I don’t tell you this to brag. I tell you because everything I’ll suggest your business does, we already did to ourselves. We’re not consultants who don’t eat their own cooking.
We didn’t shrink the team because AI replaced people. We grew the work each person could do, and the right size for the work turned out to be smaller.
